NewsBush Gottlieb, proudly announces that Jennifer A. Abruzzo, former General Counsel of the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), has joined the firm as Of Counsel. Abruzzo brings 30 years of experience and a deep devotion to advancing workers’ rights.
Abruzzo served as NLRB General Counsel from July 2021 until January 2025, during which she championed policies that expanded protections for workers and strengthened enforcement of labor laws, aiming to ensure fair treatment and empowerment for workers across the United States. She is renowned for her unwavering commitment to workers’ rights and her transformative leadership at the NLRB.
Prior to her role as General Counsel, Abruzzo dedicated almost three decades to the NLRB in various capacities, including Deputy General Counsel and Acting General Counsel. She also served as Special Counsel for Strategic Initiatives at Communications Workers of America, AFL-CIO (CWA) further demonstrating her strategic vision and staunch advocacy for workers’ rights.
Bush Gottlieb has a long-standing history of providing a full range of services and strategic campaign counsel as it vigorously represents workers, labor unions, and their trust funds. Abruzzo’s addition to the firm enhances its capacity to address the legal and strategic challenges that face workers, labor unions, and their trust funds.
