Partner Pete Dickinson was recently headlined in the February 13, 2014 Daily Journal article “Health Law Unfair to Unions, lawyers say”. Mr. Dickinson who specializes in pension and health care law was quoted, “Unions want to use health plans as part of organizing drives to help build union density”, but the Affordable Care Act burdens those very same well run, well funded plans with taxes and general insurance regulation extraneous to union multi-employer plans.
